Terms & Conditions (GreenCan Packaging ltd)

1. Production Timeline

  • Estimated delivery time (including production) is 45–70 days after artwork confirmation.
  • Timelines may vary based on order size, material availability, shipping conditions, or other external factors. Customers will be notified of any expected changes.

2. Artwork & Approval

  • Artwork confirmation is final.
  • Once approved, GreenCan is not responsible for any spelling errors, color discrepancies, design issues, or other inaccuracies in the final product.
  • A $150 plate charge applies for each desired color or any color revision.

3. Samples

  • Samples are available for a fee.
  • Minor variations between samples and final products may occur and are considered normal within standard manufacturing tolerances.

4. Defective Product Allowance

  • Due to the nature of printing and packaging manufacturing, a 3–5% defect rate may occur in each production run, especially on smaller orders.
  • This is considered an industry-standard tolerance and is not eligible for refunds, discounts, or reprints.
  • GreenCan will always work to minimize defects wherever possible.

5. Order Finality & Returns

  • All custom packaging orders are final.
  • Refunds, returns, and exchanges are not accepted for custom orders.

6. Shipping & Handling

  • Shipping and handling fees will be calculated on the final invoice.
  • GreenCan is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather conditions, or any unforeseen external events.
  • Risk of loss transfers to the client once goods are handed to the shipping carrier.

7. Payment Terms

  • For invoices under $5,000, full payment is required before production begins.
  • For invoices over $5,000, a 50% deposit is required to begin production, with the remaining balance due prior to delivery or shipment.
  • Late payments may result in additional charges or delays.

8. Taxes

  • Applicable GST/PST will be added unless the client provides a valid PST exemption number prior to invoicing.

9. Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Once artwork is approved, the order cannot be changed or cancelled.
  • Any exceptions may incur additional charges and extend production timelines.

10. Quality & Variations

  • Slight variations in size, color, thickness, texture, or finish may occur due to manufacturing processes and are considered acceptable within industry standards.
  • Claims for defective products must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery and must include photos and batch details for review.

11. Liability

  • GreenCan is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Liability is limited strictly to the value of the goods purchased.

12. Governing Law

  • All transactions are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
